Merci Peopleonpage, Inc. END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT PRINT THIS PAGE This End User License Agreement has three parts: 1. The POP! Software License; 2. The POP Privacy Policy; and 3. The POP! Terms of Use (Collectively "POP! EULA") Please read these carefully prior to accepting the POP! and Apropos Media ("Apropos") software. The POP! Privacy Policy and POP! Terms of Use ("TOU") will be updated from time to time and the most current versions will always be posted on our website: www.peopleonpage.com. The POP! Software License covers the software you are downloading from PeopleOnPage, Inc. which includes both POP! and Apropos Software. You may terminate this license by removing POP! software from your computer using the Add/Remove Program Menu in the MICROSOFT® WINDOWS® Control Panel and destroying all other copies of POP! Software. POP! SOFTWARE PeopleOnPage, Inc. ("POP") offers you a unique browser enhancement that allows you to view information about, comments by and pictures of other POP! members that are visiting the same websites as you. You can also share information about yourself and communicate with other POP! World members via instant messaging. You will have the opportunity to upgrade your membership in the event you want to purchase additional POP! features. POP! World is being provided to you free of charge in exchange for your agreement to download and view advertising served via Apropos (a proprietary browser-based advertising delivery system). Apropos will deliver advertising on your computer screen on behalf of POP advertising clients. These advertising clients may be competitors of the publishers whose Web pages users may be viewing or may have viewed recently. By viewing advertisements served via Apropos ("Apropos Ads"), POP is able to subsidize the cost of providing you POP! World. Unless otherwise specified, these Terms and Conditions apply to the POP! and Apropos software. These Terms and Conditions shall control in the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any prior terms and conditions agreed to for previously installed software by PeopleOnPage, Inc.. HOW WE DISTRIBUTE POP! and APROPOS This POP! Software comes with Apropos. You may download POP! and Apropos by either: a) downloading software from a Web site; b) clicking to download software from online advertising; or c) through trial programs with POP! partners in which POP! and Apropos are included with other software products one might choose to download. Apropos advertisements contain the Apropos name and/or logo Apropos advertisements contains the name "Apropos," "Apropos Media" or "AM" in the title bar and/or the Apropos logo in the advertisement. The Apropos brand is displayed to inform users that Apropos Ads come from PeopleOnPage, Inc. and are not associated, sponsored, or affiliated in any way with any other Web pages being viewed by users. The logo and/or Apropos name distinguishes Apropos advertisements from all other advertisements. Apropos Ad Display Apropos Ads will only be displayed on a computer's screen or storage media if the user has downloaded Apropos Software.. Many Apropos Ads are displayed on your screen on behalf of advertisers who may be competitors with the company whose Web pages the Apropos user may be viewing or may have recently viewed. Apropos Ads may be displayed in a variety of formats including: Pop-Up or Pop-Under Windows which will appear as windows on top of or beneath other windows on the computer screen. Sliding Skyscraper Windows which will appear as sliding images displayed over POP! content. HOW TO CONTROL THE DISPLAY OF APROPOS ADS How to Eliminate the Display of Apropos Ads To stop Apropos Ads from being displayed one must remove Apropos using the Add/Remove Programs menu in the Microsoft Windows control panel. How POP! and Apropos Software Work When running on a computer, POP! and/or Apropos regularly communicate with POP servers, and in some cases, third party servers, among other reasons, to: 1. maintain/update POP! and/or Apropos; 2. facilitate installing and removing POP! and/or Apropos 3. retrieve content and ads for display; 4. facilitate various POP! and/or Apropos features; 5. collect anonymous computer user usage information; and/or 6. update user information. To introduce new POP applications and services to computers' with existing POP!, we will display a message to the computer screen asking whether the new software is desired. If a user chooses to receive the new software by clicking on the message, we will download the software to that computer. In some cases we will install/setup the software automatically. In other cases the installation/setup of the software is designed to be handled by the user of that computer. In either case, we will provide notification when the download is complete and provide instructions on how to proceed. To improve the features or functions of POP! and/or Apropos, we may occasionally install technologies, such as certain rich media player applications, browser plug-ins, virtual machines, and runtime environments (collectively "Enhancement Technologies"). For example, these Enhancement Technologies may be used to deliver audio and visual effects such as animation, video and sound, or to provide enhanced services. In the event that we install on a computer Enhancement Technologies developed by a third party, that third party's privacy statement for those Enhancement Technologies will be at least as protective of privacy as POP's Privacy Statement; otherwise we will notify you via a notification message describing the technology we installed with a link or reference to the applicable privacy statement, or utilize a click-through agreement to obtain user consent, as appropriate. HOW WE USE OPTIONAL SURVEYS Users who remove POP! from their computers may be asked why the software is being removed. Responding to such survey is optional and will not affect a user's ability to remove POP! CHANGES TO THE POP! SOFTWARE AGREEMENT If these Terms and Conditions change in the future, we will not, collect, use, or store any personally identifiable information without first obtaining permission. As we issue subsequent revisions to these Terms and Conditions that do not involve personally identifiable information, we will provide notice by displaying an online pop-up message. We will also continue to publish the current Terms and Conditions on our web site. For support questions contact us at support@peopleonpage.com. POP! SOFTWARE AGREEMENT The POP! Scope of License. POP grants you a non-exclusive, limited license, pursuant to the terms hereof, to (a) install and use the most current versions of Licensed Materials solely for the purpose of accessing and using POP! and/or Apropos available through our Web site or servers, or the Web sites and servers of our business affiliates, and (b) use Licensed Materials for your personal, non-commercial purposes. apres vérification, il n'y a effectivement pas (ou plus) de pop up chez toi...
