Voilà, je suis une néophyte et j'ai installé Ubuntu la semaine dernière, terrible et je rame.....

Voilà ce que j'ai pour le moment, pour un scanner epson perfection 2480, et à la commande de application, graphisme, xsane, je n'ai même pas l'ouverture. J'ai certainement du faire de grosses erreurs, quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider? merci d'avance

As tu simplement essayé de desinstaller sane et de le reinstaller avec le gestionnaire synaptic ?

Tu desinstalles tout et tu reinstalles ça dure seulement quelques minutes

Bon je suis un peu nouveau aussi, normalement tout s'installe seul je ne vais pas t'expliquer d'autres choses je risque de te dire des betises et faire encore pire. Regardes donc sur les forums Ubuntu tu vas certainement y trouver une solution.

ok, c'est sympa mais c'est un scanner qui n'est pas reconnu directement, ça fait 5 jours que je suis sur la doc et malheureusement, il y a plusieurs méthodes pas évidentes.

Mais déjà si on pouvait me dire de quel côté regarder pourquoi il ne reconnait pas mon scanner? merci

sur http://www.sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.html#Z-EPSON ton scanner est classé comme étant bien supporté (mais pas parfaitement ) par le pilote du projet sane. Donc en théorie tu dois arriver à le faire fonctionner...

Suis ce tuto d'Ubuntu pour installer ton scanner: http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/scanner_epson ou celui là: http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/scanner_epson_perfection_2480

La doc d'Ubuntu est une mine (même quand on est pas sous cette distro ), faut que tu aies le reflexe de l'utiliser en étant sous Ubuntu.

Merci à toi d'avoir regardé les doc pour moi mais hélas, je suis dessus depuis le début ( 7 jours.....) et il y a malheureusement plusieurs méthodes et donc j'ai dû mettre un beau foutoir en tant que néophyte.....

Par contre, pourrais -tu me rendre le service de me dire les différents chemins pour tout désinstaller et tout vérifer et redémarrer à zéro? ou bien ne serait-il pas plus simple de carrément réinstaller Ubuntu pour réinitialiser? merci pour ton attention.
