 Identification de barrettes de RAM à acheter pour Nec versa sous XP

Petit astucien

Bonjour

Possesseur d'un vieil PC portable NEC versa sous xp, je souhaiterais augmenter la RAM de cet ordi afin d'y installer linux.

Au regard de l'analyse des composantes du PC faite avec le logiciel cpu-Z dont résultat ci dessous, j'aimerais savoir :

1/ s'il existe encore un emplacement de libre pour ajouter des barrettes la RAM et jusqu'à combien de Mo de RAM ? Puis monter jusqu'à 1 Go de Ram ?

2/Les 512 Mo de Ram sont elles en un morceau ou en deux de 256*(2) ?

3/ Les types de RAM que je peux commander au vu des caractéristiques de PC ? En effet, j'ai voulu utiliser le site crucial.fr, mais sans succès, car il estime que mon pc est trop vieux.

Les liens de sites acceptant encore la recherche de barrettes de ram pour xp seraient les bienvenus.

Il n'y a que deux connecteur de RAM DDR et il y a une barrette de 256 MO dans chacun.

Pour connaite la limite, il faudrait avoir la référence complète du PC (NEC Versa, il y en a beaucoup).

Le chipset i915 peut prendre jusqu'à 8 GO de RAM, mais cela dépend aussi de la carte mère.

Mais je pense qu'il n'y a aucun problème à monter à 1 GO (2 x 512), voir même 2 GO.

Crucial n'a pas pu faire le scan du pc estimant qu'il est vieux. J'ignore s'il existe un autre site sur lequel je peux essayer le scan.

1 Goctet ça me semmble être un peu juste. Ce n'est pas parce que c'et Linux qu'il faut moins de mémoire que pour Windows. Et il n'y aura sans doute pas de grande différence de prix entre 2 x 512 et 2 x 1024.

Par contre ça commence être difficile à trouver de la DDR dans les grandes marques. Il va sans doute falloir te rabattre sur des fabricants plus ou moins exotiques ou de l'occas. Voir quelques exemples ici de PC2700 SoDim

Compte tenu de l'ancienneté de cette machine et que s'agissant d'un portable dont la carte mère peut lâcher à tout moment, j'éviterais d' y investir trop.

Donne le modèle exact afin que la quantité max de RAM puisse être trouvée.

Effectivement je ne vais pas trop investir dans ce pc, qui peut lâcher à tout moment. C'est juste que je veux essayer Linux dessus et si je me fais à l'environnement Linux,

je l'installerai sur mon nouveau PC portable qui est plus moderne et plus puissant.

Effectivement je ne vais pas trop investir dans ce pc

Dans ce cas tourne toi vers une marque exotique telles que celles figurant dans la page que je t'ai indiquée. Personnellement j'opterais pour la paire de barrettes à 5,38€ (). Apparemment livraison gratuite. À ce prix là tu ne risques pas grand chose.Voir les commentaires client.
